Steve Bunce: Tyson Fury would beat Anthony Joshua but fight is now a fantasy

“We’re getting close to the Fury and Joshua fight going from a fight that could happen and becoming a reality to a fight that is starting to move into fantasy territory.”

Nov.02 - SportLand:  Steve Bunce believes Tyson Fury would beat Anthony Joshua. But that potential fight is unlikely to happen, according to boxing expert Steve Bunce.

Joshua was unconvincing on Saturday as he beat Carlos Takam in Cardiff to retain his WBA 'super' and IBF heavyweight titles, Express says.

And though Bunce believes a fully fit Fury would have the edge over Joshua, he doesn’t think the fight will happen. He told BBC Radio 5Live: “I think we do need to now go back and have a look at what happened in that fight in April.

Fury has not fought since beating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 and is awaiting a ruling from UK Anti-Doping into a suspended drugs ban. But it hasn’t stopped Fury from taunting Joshua about a possible blockbuster showdown in 2018.
